Curved with 12 degree bevel tip; silicone sleeve is 3.5 mm from tip; bevel is opposite curve. Designed for external drainage of subretinal fluid. Silicone sleeve acts as a stop. The position of bevel tip helps minimize the chance of trauma to the retina.
Flexible sleeve allows atraumatic entry through retinal or macular tears or holes, and enables aspiration of subretinal fluid.
